A Note to Our Customers...

Dear friends and supporters of Paisley Pear,

A late happy New Year to you all. I hope you have had as great a beginning as we have! It is with bittersweet emotion that I announce a new owner of Paisley Pear! As of January 1, 2008 my good friend and long time business associate, Molly Klinges, has officially taken on the role of owner and controller of our cottage handbag business. I would like to thank everyone who supported our business over the last four years. Without you there would be no Paisley Pear. It will be hard for me to say good-bye, but we are expecting our 4th little girl in March and this fun company deserves way more time than I will be able to dedicate.

This transition comes at a great time. Molly has fresh new ideas and designs that she is working on launching for the Fall 2008 season. In order to really dedicate time to a re-launch of Paisley Pear, Molly is taking advantage of our transitional time to do what we were never able to do before. She will be taking a light selling season this Spring. So everything you see on the website is available for order, but she will be limiting the Spring line and focusing only on internet sales. However, everything will be custom made upon order, so please allow 3 -4 weeks for delivery. We will also disable the on-line purchasing until the re-launch in Fall. But it is very easy to get an internet quote that can be paid for by check or by credit card over the phone. And don't forget Paisley Pear always has the most current bags available at The Finer Things. A terrific little store in Strafford, PA (on Lancaster directly across from the K-Mart) with fun new things every week.

Please look for Paisley Pear's re-launch in Fall. Molly is implementing some great ideas we have had floating around for months but have never had the down time to execute. This is sure to be a fun and exciting line for anyone who loves their handmade, one-of-a-kind handbags!!
